In France, there are currently 25 extended producer responsibility (EPR) schemes. This means that producers placing these products on the market in France must fund the collection, sorting, recycling and disposal of their products once they become waste.

- DIY and gardening items: Tools (manual only), protective equipment, non-masonry outdoor structures, buckets, flower pots...
- Sports and leisure items: Camping tents, conventional (non-electric) bicycles, balls, table tennis tables, climbing shoes...
- Household chemical products: Detergents, cleaning products and pesticides...
- Tyres: Tyres for cars, motorcycles and trucks.
- Toys: All toys meeting the CE standard (excluding those with batteries, which fall under the electrical and electronic equipment scheme), as well as board games, puzzles...
- Building construction products and materials: Such as sanitary equipment, bricks, insulation, cement, cabling, windows...
- etc.
