What is a credit?
A credit gives access to the detailed eco-contribution calculation for one product and is used to prepare your declarations. It is used in two cases only: when you add a product to your CompliancR catalogue, and when you update the quantities placed on the market to prepare a declaration. Eco-contribution rates change regularly, an update applies once a year.
Credits are purchased in batches of 10 minimum, and the unit price decreases with volume: 10 to 499 credits: €0.89 500 to 999: €0.79 1,000 to 4,999: €0.69 5,000 to 9,999: €0.59 10,000 to 24,999: €0.39 25,000 to 49,999: €0.29 50,000 and above: €0.19
What is a UIN for?
The UIN is the unique identification number issued by ADEME (the French environment agency) for each EPR scheme. It is required to report the quantities you place on the market to PROs and to pay your eco-contributions. Marketplaces require it to list you as a seller, and stop declaring and collecting on your behalf once you have sent it to them.
What does CompliancR do for me once the mandate is signed?
With a mandate (power of attorney, POA), AlgoREP carries out on your behalf: - registration of your company with each relevant PRO, including any deposit requested by the PRO; - sending your UINs directly to your CompliancR account and forwarding them to our partner marketplaces; - verification of each declaration generated and its certification with the PROs; - submission of declarations and follow-up until receipt of the compliance certificate; - payment of eco-contribution invoices on your behalf, which spares you international banking fees depending on your country.
How much do eco-contributions cost?
Exactly what you would pay by declaring yourself. CompliancR applies the official fee scales of the producer responsibility organisations (PROs) and creates none of its own: your eco-contribution is calculated using these fee scales, due at the same amount and paid to the same recipient.
CompliancR's fee is separate and added to this amount: 3% of the declared eco-contributions, with a minimum of €120 per EPR scheme.
What is the minimum commitment period with CompliancR?
No commitment period. We represent you for the declaration year you ask us to cover. You can then delete your account if you are not satisfied with the service and take back control of your declarations. Your UINs remain your property.
